My 2005 Sri v6 cdti has the factory sport springs fitted. I got them from euro car parts. If it snaps another one it will be on low springs like a lot of other users on here have used... Hth

    Welcome to Vectra-Sport matey ;)

If one spring snaps its usually not long before the other goes so always best to replace in pairs tbh.

The cheaper option for springs most of the time is just to buy a set of 30mm lowering springs which will drop the car slightly over standard but still have a comfortable ride ;)

Research eibach springs for vectra c and you'll see that they appear to be a much better spring from a durability perspective. I had the same predicament, I was told one of my rear springs had snapped, after doing the research I decided on a set of eibachs off eBay, from Germany for around £120. I fitted them today and found 3 out of 4 springs were snapped its a straight forward diy job.

Vauxhall made a very poor spring for the vectra c

True! But at least they didn't over engineer the parts so you need a series of special tools, four poster ramp and take the engine out for access.

Other manufacturers aren't always so kind. But I suppose it would have been nice to install a quality part in the first place!
