V6 Idling Issues And Cutting Out In Traffic

    Wouldn't that indicate that the wiring be the problem rather than the TPS itself?

    As said earlier, I have the same problem and moved the connection slightly and it's not done it for months now. I don't want to shell out for a sensor needlessly either though.

    Can the TPS be taken apart to clean? Neil?

    Cheers and once again a big thanks to everyone on here who helped diagnose the issue.

    I'm not sure about whether you can repair the TPS Mr V as looks like a sealed unit (think Paul mentioned that earlier) but at just under £35 I thought it was worth replacing.

    I wholeheartedly concur there sir. I'd thought they'd be much more than that, although I do have that age old postage problem.
