Upgraded brakes fitted

Still got rear arb bushes to do but only a tiny bit of Boise currently so not too worried.
Also made a few changes to the dash
Nice one Dan I bet it feels like a different car , the dash looks good
'Dan the led man',looks good.
Can't believe it's been 18 months since I updated!
Car has changed a little bit and reading back its come a long way in 6 months!
I will post up a diary and and pics tomorrow. You might think iv sold it and bought a new one but honestly it's the same car!
Mental looking back at the standard vec sri you bought nd how she is now
Just read whole story.
What ever did happen to that irmy splitter?
Was this the very same one that was fitted, came off and got driven over
Hahahaha dave got it in one not enough tiger seal fell off and got run over
Well here goes.....
There has been a couple of updates since I last posted, il try to remember them but it has been done bit by bit so bear with me........
My first focus was on the inside, so to compliment the led conversion I have gone back to a CD70 with the same colour scheme as the dash. To go with this I fitted a parrot MKI9200 which enables bluetooth audio, seperate ipod connection hidden under the armrest and of course hands free calling.
People that know me will know I always like a bit of bass in my life so after chopping and changing I have settled for an Alpine Type R 12" powered by a JL 500/1 amp. They suit really well and kick nicely whilst still retaining most of the boot space.
The GSI interior has been replaced with a full leather SRI interior in mint condition - had to drive to south wales but well worth it! They are heated too so the wiring will follow shortly but likely gonna be next winter before I see the benefits! I have kept the design trim and doorcards as I prefer the dark blue effect.
So that was the inside done! No more plans as its exactly how I want it. I have a vxr gearknob in the cupboard but trying to keep the SRI theme so doubt il fit it, happy with the standard astra H.
Exterior has seen some serious changes, first up was the VXR diffuser, then following on from this I found a rear XP lip in the same colour so travelled to Doncaster to collect. Probably paid over the odds but as it was the same colour probably saved in the long run!
To compliment this I saw a full turbo back exhaust for sale for cash plus a standard one, so off I went to castleford this time to collect. This was quickly fitted and the full XP rear end with VXR tips was complete.
Then I fitted an EGR blanking plate and took a trip up to our very own @RADB02 for it mapping out. Dave did a fantastic job and I instantly saw a return on MPG, probably paid for itself!
I then kept my eye out for the XP skirts and front lip. Being 07 I wanted XP1 to keep it standard ish looking, and last month found one breaking in Sheffield in the same colour. Agreed a price of 150 delivered so bit his hand off. A couple of hours later all was fitted and the full XP1 rep was complete.
Im really happy now with the way the car looks, it drives well and I have done what I set out to do. Next stop will be engine parts but will be replacing as and when things wear rather than upgrading.
On the list is
Back to Dave for mapping and set up.
Quite fancy an irmy top spoiler too but seem to be rarer than any other part I have ever looked for and probably out of my budget for now!
So thats it for now folks, focus for the next few months will be our wedding so car will have to take a back seat, just gonna enjoy driving it!
So now for the pics! Sorry they are not the best, will post up some more when its had a proper clean and the weather sorts its life out!
Bit of a transformation since I last saw it Dan
Wel iv been happy with the motor for a month then this happened.
Some old guy decided not to stop at a mini roundabout.
Not happy but suppose stuff happens. Waiting on him admitting liability then hopefully will be fixed
Fingers crossed the repair is swift mate
Oh yes. Pics to follow monday, repair took longer than expected as they ordered standard parts......
Happy days dan
Well she's back and the repair job as absolutely perfect. Can't believe how good it is, brand new front bumper, wing and light. Also two new Siggy fog surrounds. They refitted the xp splitter and also repainted them all. Kept the irmy grill and refitted.
Front end looks like a brand new car, now need the rear end repainting to match!
And as a treat just accidentally bought more wheels. Thanks @Mcpinky and you didn't even mean me lol
