    Signum 3.2 v6
    hi folks,

yesterday the missus went on a short trip of 3 miles to the zhop then the car wouldn't start... all lights came on the dash as normal but nothing, after a few mins she'd get a clicking noise then a few mins later she started. later on i started her up, it seemed to take a couple of seconds (its usually instant) and made a bit of a bang on fire up

a quick google search found someone had exactly the same issue with a signum (think a 2.2) and it was the starter.

do you reckon its defo the starter..... i found a new one for just under £50 on ebay so not a big expense.

if thats the issue am i correct in thinking i need to remove the rear plenum to get access to the starter?

    thanks in advance folks

Could be the starter mate could always bench test it before you order a new one to be on the safe side

Going off what you have said I would put my money on the starter being at fault

Also check the wire from ignition that may be at fault
