Hi guys not been on for a while, got a 2.6 gsi rep, 5 months ago developed a misfire 1-5, after changing crank, cam sensors and rear coilpack 3 times, I decided to convert engine to 3.2, now after a full weekend courtesy of Dave and kieth Bradley, I'm still getting banks 1-5 misfire totally different engine, like Wtf?? Anyway I've ordered a second hand ecu off the bay and if that don't work then changing loom, anyone else had this problem?

I would look at the loom or injectors if you changed coil packs and plugs.

Everything mechanically been changed, old engine 1-5 intermittent misfire , new engine intermittent misfire 1-5 lol only problem now is with 2.6 started at 2.5k revs now it's 3.2 starts misfiring at 1.5 k revs making near impossible to drive, not that I am as dont want to stress New engine to much

Thread hasn't been locked why you ask?

Have you checked the wiring loom before spending money on a ecu?
