All hale @dave bradley ....hes done my belt today and I can honestly say I wouldn't have wanted my motor in anyone's hands other than his. Knows his stuff, up for the crack and an all round decent bloke...if anyone wants a timing belt doing on a v6, ask him if he fancies doing it....especially if its a 2.6...he loves em...thanks Dave!

If its 100 miles over the recommended change date its well overdue in my eyes...and I don't believe its had one as the previous owner gave me instructions for a cambelt he said had been fitted but made no history of it anywhere...the instructions were for a aftermarket cambelt, not even a gates or anything but the belt Dave took off was a genuine GM...i dont know all about the symtoms that tell whether a belt is old or recent but I believe that the belt had not been changed...and at 93.000 and 15 year old that would make the belt well overdue
