Had a productive day today :)

Fitted new torque rod - the one that was on the veccy was totally wrecked, the middles dropped out when i removed it, plus it wasnt a proper V6 mount :/ So a new genuine part is now on :D

I also sanded down the bumper bottom and gave it a blast over with some paint, also did a small patch of rust on the OS arch and a bigger area on the top of the NS arch, certainly not the best job but it will see me right through winter :)

K&N panel filter purchased - £20 off ebay, Want to try the panel filter against the cone filter, I seem to have a little hesitation on take off since i putting the cone on...

No pics as i dropped my phone making the screen crack, sorry!

I got work to do me an oil and filter change as well as the fuel filter which has made it a lot smoother and quieter which is always good.

One thing which is bugging me is that theres a fuel smell from around the filler flap area, more so when under the car, So im thinking i have a small split on the hose that goes over the top of the tank as there are no obvious leaks from anywhere else :(

On the spoiler side of things, i managed to win a Bootlid lip heckspoiler off ebay, same as i had on ym oild SRi, so when that comes il fill the wiper hole again, get it painted, de wiper mine, and fit it :D

Thats exactly what mine was like with the cone filter on mate and it would bogg up if i dropped it fown a gear and trying to give it some so i put my courtenay sport panel filter back on and notice so much difference in the throttle response it was like a completely different car :) with regards to the smell around the filler cap mine used to do this till i changed to fuel cap as my seal was knackard so might be worth a check mate :)
