a few bits done today.....mudguards fitted, cupra splitter fitted, and de badged.

came across some very corroded holes in the bodywork, mainly in the recess and pillars the liftgate glass sits in, im betting ts been epaired in its life on the rear quarter - nothing some filler and patience cant fix though :) Front bumper wants blowing in in a few places too, and the NS rear arch has been repaired before and is rusting through again.

Exhaust sorted - Middle silencer cracked so replaced with a remus racetube thats been welded to a GSI backbox, Sounds different to what im used to, talk about raspy?!!

Vectra C GSi alloys next - just need tyres swapping over. Also got the cupra splitter and rear mudflaps on - starting to come together now, It will almost look decent once i find a silver hatch spoiler!

sound good mate i like the vec c gsi alloys on them they look nice

Also i found the induction cone filters to be quite cr*p on my 2.5 it sounded awsome but mine always seem to bog up at low speeds and when trying to pull off i found the courtenay sport panel filter to be the best mate maybe yours wont be like mine as mine seems to hate me lol

I just want it for some noise haha

I had the same ramair cone in my old black Sri but also had a panel filter in original box - couldnt tell any difference performance wise if im honest, I sold it with the airbox and kept the cone but it got wrecked in the shed :(

Well, 1 week with the ram air filter - no performance difference, much more noise though and the avarage MPG reading seems to have leveled out at 26.9 so im happy with that!

Got a few bits and bobs from work: Rear bumper top retainer screws, a wheel arch clip, 2 x bulbs to replace the silly crappy blue ones and some star silver 3 - i went with star silver 3 as its lighter than star silver 2 when iot dries. itas only for the front bumper anyway :)
