Can't wait to see this finished
New coilpack fitted - oh and oil and filter change. With the fuel being dumped straight down the bore it needed done despite having covered less than 100 miles since last change. You could smell the fuel in the oil. This is a brand new rebuilt engine with 1000s spent so I'm looking after it.
Oh and unfortunately the bodyshop had over half its workforce hand in their notice so I had to retrieve the car. Looking for somewhere else now and unlikely I'll be at PVS due to this.
Not good news mate hope u find somewhere else
These things are sent to test us. Good luck finding a new bodyshop and I'm sure this car will be round for years to come once your done with it so there is always next year
Like u say with all that money should be like a new motor. There's 2 round me and every time I see them they stand out. Will be mint when you get over these hurdles mate
Thanks guys. Just need to find the right person.
Another MoT another failure - last year it was a faulty cat, this year a hole.
Thankfully, the chap who did such a marvellous job on welding in a new cat last year (Jack at Flux Fabrication) has done another outstanding repair.
Does anyone know where I can get a 40mm grommet from to plug up the hole?
That looks a bad hole mate glad you got it sorted looks spot on the job he has done
Tidy job done there
Neil that's a tidy job bud.
All plugged and undersealed

Subtle little mod...but what a difference!
Out with the old and in with the new
(Apologies for the evidential lack of detailing anytime recently)
Its the little things that make a car mate
