I had a look at www.howmanyleft.co.uk today, seems to be only 101 2.2 DTi's left on the road

    Licensed
    SORN
    Quarter
    Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4 Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4
    2017
    162 133 120 101 176 180 180 185

would love to find one of those with one thats sorn, could always use spare parts haha.

I dont see prices for the DTi's increaing like the 2.5's or 2.6's

where I am theres only 2 vectra B's about, mine and a silver 1.8 "in a bad state"

should start a DTI section only haha

Mine had a fuel pump failure (2.0 DTI). Had a 2.2 then that had nothing but issues and blew a turbo seal and that was that.
They didnt really stand the test of time.

Some engines were troublesome. 2 ltr DTI's and 2.2 seem to have a bad history.

nice link, I did not know about that, I used it on the supertourings but funny numbers came up

it only shows the 2.0ltr 16 valve and only shows 185 of them maximum, so where are the other three hundred and odds, let alone all the 2.5lt MSD ones?

I beleive these are listed by what is on the log book, eres what it says on the site.

If you can't find your car, it doesn't mean that the DVLA thinks it doesn't exist!

Most vehicles are listed under the make and model recorded on their V5 documents. In some cases though, the make and model name isn't properly recorded and the the vehicle will be counted under one of the following alternative categories:

    • Another similar model from the same manufacturer. eg. The author's old Subaru Legacy GT-B was counted as a Subaru Legacy, because the GT-B is a Japanese model that was never sold in the UK.
    • The 'Missing' model from the same manufacturer. eg. A Bugatti Veyron is counted as a 'Bugatti - Missing', because the Veyron model hasn't been registered on the DVLA database.
    • An 'Other' make and model. eg. A Pagani Zonda is counted as an 'Other Italian - Missing', because the Pagani make hasn't been registered on the DVLA database.
